New Digs

If a picture is worth a thousand words, this post is worth 8,000 words.

First two pictures are from the entryway looking first right and then left.

My room is on the left.

My room.

View of the always-packed Leonard's, a famous Portuguese bakery, out my desk window.

View looking out our front door.

View of Diamondhead from the end of our porch.

View of the park across the street from my other window. I've been playing basketball there a fair amount and love the fact that I can always check to see if there's a game worth joining before going.

Kokohead

Went on a hike up Kokohead (large crater east of Honolulu) with my friend James from work this morning. Quite the view at the top!

A Run Around The New Neighborhood

With Kevin's departure from Honolulu, I have now moved to a new apartment in a different part of town. The address is...

945 Kapahulu Avenue
Apt. A
Honolulu, HI 96816

I'll have pictures of the apartment itself up soon (still setting up a few things), but below are some pictures I took yesterday when I went for a run up the street (Kaimuki) behind the apartment. The large mountain you see is Diamondhead, and you can also see downtown Honolulu, Waikiki, and the ocean in some of them.

Thai Restaurant #2

I've been working for about a month now as a waiter at a new Thai-style shabu shabu restaurant. I think I'm getting the hang of waiting alright, and I still haven't caused any major catastrophes.

You can read a detailed write-up of the restaurant by a Honolulu blogger here.

Big Red Print Solutions

One thing I've been up to lately is making sales calls, and lots of 'em. Kevin and I are part of an imaging solutions start-up, which in layman's terms means right now we sell printer cartridges to businesses. Check out the website at www.bigredprintsolutions.com, and feel free to drop our name to any company who buys cartridges (pretty much everyone), as we ship anywhere in the U.S. Sales is new for me, but it's kind of a fun game to play. We'll see yet if I'm good at it... :)
